METHOD:
To make the base, pulse all ingredients in a high-speed blender until mixture sticks together. Try not to over blend, there should still be some texture from the almonds. Press mixture evenly into mini tart tins, approx 8cm in diameter. Chill in the fridge while preparing your filling.
For the filling, choose your flavour of yoghurt - some reccommendations we love are vanilla, banana, passionfruit and salted caramel!
Choose your choice of fresh fruits for toppings - this could be chopped up berries, mango, passionfruit pulp, cherries, honey, crushed nutes, you name it!
Fill each tart base with your desired filling and toppings, and enjoy
NOTE:
- Fill your tarts and keep refrigerated before serving, or keep aside as a snack and build them as you go.
- For our recipe, we use YoPro 15g protein which is ideal for our post bariatric surgery patients. You can however use alternative yoghurt and your mix protein powder into this.
