Dr Anusha Krishnamoorthy MBBS FRACGP DCH

Dr Anusha Krishnamoorthy graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 2006 at The University of Adelaide. This was followed by four years of training at Flinders Medical Centre and Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Adelaide in the discipline of paediatrics and neonatal medicine where she completed her Diploma in Child Health. Dr Anusha then ventured onto completing her rural General Practitioner training in the country coastal town of Geraldton where she achieved her Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2019.

During her time in rural Western Australia, Dr Anusha became familiar with the ongoing chronic medical issues relating to obesity and the lack of services available in rural communities. She became passionate about improving health outcomes and helping patients achieve their health goals by working as a team.

Outside of work Dr Anusha loves spending time with her family, dancing and going for hikes.
