Dr Jessica Sheehan BMBS FRACGP
Dr Jessica Sheehan graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 2002 at The University of Adelaide. This was followed by completing her Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2008. She has extensive experience in General Practice having worked throughout Melbourne, Bendigo and Adelaide between 2006 and 2017.
Dr Sheehan was inspired to join the REYOU team in 2019 when returning to her home town of Adelaide after a period of time living in Napa California with her family. Whilst overseas she spent time observing clinical consulting of Bariatric surgeon Dr Scott Perryman and was impressed by the transdisciplinary and holistic approach that his team provided in managing patients with Obesity.
Dr Sheehan decided to pursue a career in Bariatric Medicine by joining a similar team on return to Adelaide with REYOU. She is passionate about providing support for her patients throughout the long-term process of regaining and maintaining a state of general health and wellbeing.
Dr Sheehan is married with 2 children. She enjoys playing tennis, hiking, cooking and spending quality time with friends and family.
